The unique Pengembara Golok and handle are hand made by the reputable Scorpion knives Ltd of Sheffield UK to an incredibly high standard. With a flat grind of CS80 carbon steel it was specifically designed as act as a utility tool with a whole host of uses. This Golok can be used for everything from fine controlled cutting to chopping and the specifically designed flat ground edge wedges apart the material it is cutting and prevents binding providing excellent chopping.
The Malaysian text Pengembara (translated as adventure ) is embossed along the blade and proudly boasts logos from the manufacturers and the National Tracking School. It was individually and meticulously designed by Jamie McGregor - Advanced Tracking Advisor for the National Tracking School, and with adventure at its heart, and a deep respect for the local people of Malaysia, the Pengembara is an essential piece of outdoor equipment.
